Personal Development: One-On-One Coaching FAQs
Professional coaching can be a deeply fulfilling career for those who want to help others, make a significant impact on the world, and find work with deep meaning. As with any profession, it's important to enter it with a good idea of what to expect. Radiance Partners is dedicated to developing high-quality, confident coaches who help fulfill our mission to catalyze powerful transformation. Our programs attract individuals who want to build a business that enables them to thrive while contributing to a global community.
Radiance offers a unique and comprehensive program that provides more than just a certification—it gives you a robust community for life. Our training goes beyond standard education, blending the ICF Core Competencies with the neuroscience of coaching and a spiritual foundation. This ensures our students are not only technically skilled but also deeply connected to their clients. Our approach is personalized, with a focus on a small-group format and one-on-one attention.
Beyond your initial training, our vibrant community supports your continuous growth through:
• Built-in CCEs: Earn Continuing Coach Education credits through monthly events, webinars, and practice sessions.
• Networking & Support: Connect with peers and instructors through our online community and annual retreats.
• Mentorship: Gain access to experienced mentors who can answer questions at any time along your coaching path.
We are also committed to empowering our graduates, and we actively explore opportunities for paid coaching when possible within our network.
Becoming a coach is a life-altering decision that requires intent, knowledge, and foresight. To make an informed choice, consider the following:
• Your Goals: What is your motivation for coaching? Your goals, such as making a difference in the world or becoming a better manager, will help you select the right training.
• Program Style: You should choose a program that resonates with you. Some programs are business-oriented, while others have a spiritual basis. Radiance is for those with a spiritual basis who want to bring purpose and well-being to the world.
• Accreditation & Credentialing: As a professional, it is important to complete an ICF-accredited training program to obtain an ICF credential. You are encouraged to research several coaching programs and what they offer.
• Credential: This validates that a coach is coaching at a certain standard. The ICF offers three credentials: Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Master Certified Coach (MCC).
• Certification: This is a certificate issued by an accredited training program (like Radiance) that shows you've completed all program requirements. A Level 2 certification program is at least 125 hours and includes mentoring.
• Accreditation: This is the ICF’s approval of a coach training program. Radiance offers ICF-accredited programs, which means our training has passed a rigorous oversight process. This ensures your certification is globally recognized, providing credibility, skill, confidence, and client trust.
We offer a range of programs structured to meet you at your current level of expertise, whether you're new to coaching or an experienced professional.
• Level 1 (60-Hour) Program: Our foundational Level 1 program prepares you to qualify for an ACC (Associate Certified Coach) credential. It’s a great option if you want to learn more about coaching before committing to a longer program, or if you plan to use coaching skills in a professional role.
• Level 2 (130+ Hour) Program: This is an "all-inclusive" certification program that prepares you to become a professional coach and fulfills the requirements for the PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential. It includes robust training, mentoring, and business development support.
• The Radiant Path (60-65 Hour) Program: Designed for experienced coaches with prior training who want to learn the unique Radiance Framework and join our community. Pathways are available for ACC, PCC, and MCC level certifications.
• Advanced Coach Education: We offer programs for experienced coaches, including the Masterful Coaching Program for those aiming for their MCC credential, and the Professional Coach Mentor Certification for those who want to train as a certified coach mentor.
• Continuing Education: We offer specialized courses and Monthly Illuminations webinars for continuing coach education credits (CCE) and professional development.
Tuition for our programs varies, so please contact us for a consultation to receive the current and correct costs. For a general idea, typically for a full Level 2 Certification program the cost is currently around $12,000 USD. A Level 1 program is approximately $6,000 USD.
The Radiant Path program for experienced coaches who either want Certification or want to join the Radiance Community varies in cost from $5,000-$6,000, depending on the student's needs.
Radiance Partners offers flexible payment plans for all group programs to help with the cost of education.
Our programs are designed to be flexible and highly interactive.
• Format: We conduct our programs one-on-one or in small groups (2-6 students) via Zoom, with some in-person options available. We focus on synchronous learning, which means you learn in real-time with an instructor.
• Pace: A full Level 2 program typically takes 12-18 months to complete. The pace depends on the student’s completion of graduation requirements.
• Schedule: The schedule depends on your chosen path. Training starts with individual one-on-one coaching, so you start the program as a client. After you complete these sessions, students are typically placed in small 2-6 person cohorts. We have classes in English, Spanish, and Greek.
Our Level 2 Accredited Coach Certification Program is structured to give you both the client and coach experience. It starts with you experiencing the coaching program as a client, then training as a coach, and ending it by coaching three paying clients of your own under the supervision of a trainer. You also complete a metamorphosis project to encapsulate your entire experience. This hands-on, mentored approach ensures you graduate as a confident, exceptional ICF-accredited coach.
Our small-group format helps students bond closely with their peers, and our vibrant community continues to support them long after graduation, offering opportunities for continual learning, networking, and support. While we don't guarantee placement, Radiance Partners actively explores opportunities for our graduates, especially at the PCC and MCC levels, for paid coaching within our network.
• Coach Mentoring: This is a crucial support for coaches to help them enhance their competence and develop their unique coaching style. The ICF requires at least 10 hours of mentoring for all credential applications and ACC renewals. Radiance Coach Mentors are rigorously trained and certified to help you increase your coaching competency and prepare for the credentialing exam.
• Coach Supervision: This is a practice for experienced coaches to reflect on their practice with a supervisor in a safe, supportive, and confidential space. It helps coaches uncover blind spots, address ethical issues, and ensure they are delivering the best possible coaching service.
• Entrance Requirements: We look for people with a deep caring for others, a commitment to personal growth, and a minimum of three years of work experience.
• Graduation Requirements: To receive a Certified Radiance Coach (CRC) Certificate, students must participate in all training modules, coach three clients while being mentored, complete a metamorphosis project, and pass a final exam.
• Withdrawals and Refunds: In the event a student withdraws, they are liable for payment for services rendered on a daily prorated percentage, in addition to a $300 USD administrative fee.
• Confidentiality: Radiance Coach Educators take great care to maintain the anonymity of everyone involved. While educators may discuss strategies to upgrade our programs, the privacy of all students and clients is strictly maintained.
